Paraffin wax treatments are a luxurious treat that can help you achieve baby-soft skin. Typically applied during manicures and pedicures, this type of soft wax bonds to the skin very well: hands/feet are submerged in the wax, wrapped in plastic and left to soak for 15-30 minutes.
A paraffin wax “dip” or “bath” is a soothing treatment in which the feet are submerged in a warm mixture of paraffin, a petroleum-based wax, and mineral oil. This warming treatment soothes aching joints and improves circulation, and the combination of oil and wax softens rough skin.
A Basic Manicure with Polish contains all the above steps as the Basic Manicure except before the hand and arm massage, polish is applied.
An Express Manicure contains all the steps as the Basic Manicure with polish but there is no massage, to complete this service a moisturizer is applied to the hand.
